The Links, Incorporated created the National Trends and Services Facet (NTS) to eliminate disparities by reducing barriers to resources through advocacy, education, and service.

Activities

The Charlotte (NC) Chapter partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas (BBBSC) to provide transformational programming for the mentors, mentees and families. In December 2019, The Charlotte (NC) Chapter coordinated the first-ever Santa’s Workshop in Mecklenburg County for BBBS.  The Chapter provided  more than 47 families and 100 children (newborn to 17 years old) with 100 wrapped presents and gift cards.

The committee hosted a “Get out the Vote” and 2020 Census workshop for mentors and families to increase public engagement and participation.
